It feels so good to transfer this to the Foundation knowing that we have helped contribute to the research and care of those touched by Luekaemia.

All Day Crop: 9am-5pm
If you are attending the Crop you will need to bring your own tools and equipment along with any projects you would wish to work on during the day.
Classes:
Each class will have a kit of product required to complete the class. You will need to bring your photos and general tools ie Cutters, craft knifes, tapes, pens etc. Product specific to the class will be provided on the day.
There will be products available for purchase on the day but of course we cannot bring the whole store!
** Buckley’s Entertainment centre is helping us out with a room on the day. In accordance with their rules no food or drink is to be taken onto the premises. There will be tea and coffee supplied. Buckley’s has both bar dining and a sit down restaurant. To book dining call the venue direct on 5248 4866.

As promised here are the details for our 3rd annual fundraising day:
When: Sunday 8th November 2009
where: Buckley’s Function Centre, Breakwater.
Why: To raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
WHAT: Chandon Craft is hosting a fundraising day. We are running an all day Crop & classes from 9am-5pm. Bring all the projects you want to work on and enjoy being with fellow crafters. The tables are 6ft doubles & with four to a table there will be heaps of space to spread out and craft. Cost $25.00
There will also be two adjacent class rooms. Each room will host three, two hour
classes as per the schedule below:-
Classroom One:
9.00am-11.ooam Remember When
This a gorgeous single page layout to celebrate the past. Combining Basic Grey's "Indian Summer" range with the stunning Prima florals this page will be a highlight to any album or look fabulous framed and on display. Photo required for this class is one 5x7" Landscape picture. Cost $25.00
11.30am-1.oopm Love You to the Moon

This awesome double page layout celebrates what you love. This class not only contains the product to make the layout you will complete in the class but it also includes the entire Melissa Frances boy kit. 9.00am-11.00am Chicky Babe
This stunning single page layout celebrates a beautiful girl. Using Webster's Pages paper, the Cricut Machine and various size flowers create a masterpiece! Photo required for this class is one 4x6" Portrait picture. Cost $25.00
11.30am-1.30pm Triple Christmas Card Class
In this class you will be creating three elegant and easy cards using the very new Kaisercraft 6x6" paper pad. The designs are suitable for Christmas and everyday occasions and include a variety of surface finishes. Techniques used in the class will include using the diecut elements as templates. The cards use the Belle Collection pad and the kit includes a fll pad and you will be able to take the rest of the pad home to make many more cards. Cost $25.00
2.30pm-4.30pm Snowman Treat Box & Gift Card Holder
Gift Card Holder
In this class you will make these two holders for small gifts. A handmade additon to a gift is thoughtful and priceless. The Snowman treat box is a gift in itself that could be used to decorate many Christmas' shelf or table to come. Fill with chocolates or lollies.
The "Dear Santa" card has a pocket inside to securely hold a gift card. Gift Cards are becoming a more and more practical and sought after pressie. Decorated with papers from the new Kaisercraft Christmas paper collections this Gift Card holder will make the present extra special. Cost $25.00
Our Lend a Hand For Luekaemia fundrasing days in the past years have been terrific fun days. Bookings for the crop and classes are now being taken. Bookings can be taken in store or by calling the store on 5223 2003.

We are very excited to announce the date for our annual Fundraising Day; Lend a Hand for Luekaemia. The 2009 event will be held on Sunday the 8th of November at Buckley's Function Centre. We are currently working on some awesome classes for the day. But for now put it in the diary as one to remember. Keep watching the blog for details.
WOW, what an awesome day.
A bigger than HUGE thank-you to everyone who made it possible. To all our suppliers and supporters who gave such fabulous prizes. We were able to give away individual bags for all those attending the crops, a gift prize for each of the 6 classes, 7 door prizes, 6 raffle prizes and 3 prizes for the layout contest.
Also a special thanks to everyone from Chandon who gave their precious time not only on the day but in preparation for the day as well. Plus to the teachers who also donated their time for this wonderful cause.
The event raised $1197.50 for the Luekaemia Foundation. These funds will go to helping both those with the disease and also those supporting them.
